Life according to Basil

My Mom and I were watching some old videos of the kids the other day, Emily was about the age that Caleb is now, maybe a little younger. I told Basil "I noticed that she was clapping at this age, he doesn't clap." Just an observation, not that it's a big deal. His response:

"Girls are just smarter." (He should have just stopped there, but he went on to say) "Well, they start out smarter, then they grow up and lose all sense God gave a jackass."
